DEVELOPMENT FOR FUTURE
At BORG Automotive we have created an international talent program with an ambition to develop people and their competences - we call it Development for the future.
The aim of the program is to develop the competences of the future. In a constantly changing world, we want to equip our employees with the skills necessary to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. At BORG Automotive Group, we believe that the ability to adapt and respond to incessantly changing environments is crucial. For this reason, we have created a talent program that consists of several modules and each of them concerns different competencies of the future. People who take part in the program are our employees representing various branches and business areas. Workshops are carried out in different locations to allow participants build awareness about culture of others and creating international relation between employees.
We have already organized workshops in Poland, Great Britain and Spain. The last one took place in Pamplona, Spain. In September, a group of our colleagues took part in the workshop which was the third phase in our journey. A key focus of that training referred to leadership communication skills to help manage and prevent difficult situations. That kind of knowledge will enable our employees not only to navigate skilfully in interactions with others, but also to cultivate active participation and collective responsibility for results. To enrich exploration in these areas, we leveraged the Process Communication Model (PCM) – a questionnaire utilized by leading global companies. This model helped to provide a robust foundation for discussions on communication, stress, misunderstandings, and behavioural preferences. PCM offered our employees a unique opportunity to understand themself better and gain insights into the functioning of others.
Positive feedback from our employees guarantees that the idea of organizing the "Development for Future" talent program meets both the needs of the organization and the expectations of employees.
All this with the expectation that we are all better equipped for the tasks needed to be solved in the future.
